Causes and Solutions:
1. Encapsulated air holes: During the pouring process, the metal liquid flow hits the liquid surface to bring air in, and the generated air bubbles are difficult to overflow. (reduce the diameter and height of the sprue, and reduce the surface tension of the molten metal)
2. Invasion of pores: the molding sand and sand core cannot be exhausted by gas. (Measures: reduce the temperature of the molding sand, the amount of oil in the sand core, and increase the air permeability of the sand mold)
3. Precipitation of pores: During the melting process of molten metal, hydrogen, nitrogen and other gases are also integrated in the form of atoms. As the temperature decreases, their solubility decreases, and they are precipitated in the form of molecules. (measures: control of gas content, degassing treatment, etc.)
4. Reaction pores when external: The molten metal reacts with sand molds, sand cores, etc. to generate gas. (Measures: control the moisture of the molding sand, etc.)
5. Reaction pores when internal: The metal itself reacts with the compounds and compounds dissolved in it to generate gas. (measure: the charge is clean)
